120 hours of paid time off in your first year of employment, increasing to 200 hours for years 2 – 5, 225 hours for years 6 – 10, and 240 hours after 11 plus years.  10 paid holidays per year.  Agency pays 85% of health insurance costs, provides a life insurance policy, and up to 3% match in a Simple IRA.

Mental Health Therapist

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760 per year.

The HND is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who advocates for change, instills hope and listens with compassion.  Inspiring growth and making a difference is what we do every day.  We believe family is the foundation and there is strength in diversity as We Nurture and Empower Families to help build Stronger Communities.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Florida Registered Intern or Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health or Clinical Social Work, or license eligible with one year’s experience working with sexually abused children and their families. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

  • Must have valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and be approved as a driver by HND’s insurance carrier.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain sufficient caseload to meet the needs of clients and the agency. Meet outcomes and objectives of the assigned program area. Provide legal and ethical delivery, advocating for client rights.  Deliver counseling services for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs.  Additional training in trauma counseling in accordance with the Children’s Medical Services Sexual Abuse Treatment Program available.

 

BENEFITS:

  • 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year of employment, increasing to 5 weeks for years 2 – 5. 10 paid holidays per year. 10 paid holidays per year.

  • The agency currently pays 85% of employee's health insurance costs, provides a $15,000 life insurance policy and, once you become eligible, matches up to 3% in a Simple IRA.
