C.A.R.E.S. / Parenting Administrative Assistant

Positions based in DeLand

Annual Salary Range - $29,120

Full-time - Monday through Friday


APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Clerical skills with above average typing skills. Computer competent, work experience in an office setting and working with the public. Detailed, organized, empathetic and nonjudgmental. Experience managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks relating to scheduling, reports and correspondence. Flexibility with problem solving and decision-making skills and able to work independently. English/Spanish speaker preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ​​

  • Answer incoming phone calls, monitor phone messages and department emails

  • Maintain confidential Client records through internal and external office communication

  • Track eligibility / authorization requirements for all Medicaid clients monthly as needed

  • Maintain telephone and email contact with all referral sources by following up with each referral. Follow up with all case workers on outcomes for their referrals. Track referrals, enrollments and maintain waiting lists

  • Schedule clients for intakes and/or sessions within the referral and EHR system

  • Make copies of Parenting admission packets and be able to answer questions and/or assist in packet completion

  • Scanning 100% of new admissions, AAPI assessments, treatment plan assessment signature page into the EHR system

  • Gather information for records requests

  • Send out monthly and weekly reports as directed

  • Develop completion certificates for graduates

  • Track and order necessary office supplies

  • Oversee petty cash and complete cash reconciliation reports

  • All administrative duties as assigned 

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Positions based in DeLand

Annual Salary Range - $52,000

Full-time - Monday through Friday


APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health or Clinical Social Work, with on eyear's experience working with sexually abused children and their families. Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred. 

  • Ability to meet with clients in homes and community locations throughout Flagler County 2 days per week. Provide services to clients in-office at our DeLand location 3 days per week. 

  • Must have valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and be approved as a driver by HND's insurance carrier. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ​​

Maintain sufficient caseload of 26 clients per week to meet the needs of clients and the agency. Meet outcomes and objectives of the assigned program area. Provide legal and ethical delivery advocating for clients rights. Deliver counseling services in the clients home, in office and via telehealth for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs. Additional training in trauma counseling in accordance with the Children's Medical Services Sexual Abuse Treatment Program available.
