Clinical Supervisor

Positions based in DeLand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,480 per year. 

 

​The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for staff, service delivery and daily operations at their assigned sites and for SATP for all service sites.  They also deliver 10 hours direct service to clients per week. This work is performed under the direction of the Program Director.  Supervision is exercised over three full-time therapy staff, SATP staff and contract therapists. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited university.

  • Must have a clear and active license with the Florida Department of Health in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.

  • Must have official training and/or certification in trauma work. 

  • Must have valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and be approved as a driver by HND’s insurance carrier

  • A qualified supervisor with the State of Florida with a minimum of five years of experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor departmental budget

  • Provide supervision to clinical and SATP staff

  • Maintain caseload as determined by Director

  • Monthly & Quarterly SATP reports to include STATIS

  • Responsible for ensuring all SATP staff follow SATP requirements

  • Responsible for creating and conducting community trainings

  • Prepares, recommends, and enforces agency policies and procedures within therapy department

  • Facilitates group supervision and departmental training for SATP and therapy staff

  • Monitors and evaluates staff performance 

  • Daily management of staff and contract therapists in supervisors’ module in Evolv

  • Ensures coverage for clinic which is open Monday – Saturday

  • Carry Caseload to include SATP clients

Contract Clinical Therapist

To Work w/Children < 15 years of age

Positions based in DeLand

Job Type: Contract

$30 per hour for unlicensed Therapist

$32 per hour for licensed Therapist

The Contract Clinical Therapist position will take cases, working with children under the age of 15, to provide services either fully remote or hybrid if preferred. Afternoon/early evening availability preferred.

​

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health or Psychology preferred.

  • Licensed eligible therapist with more than two years' experience.

  • Experience working with children under the age of 15.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct individual and family therapy

  • Complete initial assessment, treatment plan and progress notes 

  • Keep schedule current to schedule and allow front end staff to schedule appointments

  • Keep current with state license and CEU requirements

  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner within designated timeframes per policy and procedures

C.A.R.E.S. COORDINATOR

· Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services field. Five years of like experience may be substituted.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The C.A.R.E.S. Coordinator provides in-home services to families at high risk for entering the child welfare system to include education, safety planning, and assessment.

· Using a strength-based approach the Coordinator builds, and facilitates, a care team comprised of family, community and professional supports to assist the family in carrying out the goals written in the treatment plan.

Hybrid position, flexible, minimal in office required.   • Florida Licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health or Clinical Social Work, or license eligible with one year’s experience working with sexually abused children and their families. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain sufficient caseload to meet the needs of clients and the agency. Meet outcomes and objectives of the assigned program area. Provide legal and ethical delivery, advocating for client rights.  Deliver counseling services for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs.  Additional training in trauma counseling in accordance with the Children’s Medical Services Sexual Abuse Treatment Program available.

High School Diploma required.  Associate degree or equivalent preferred.  Three years’ experience navigating the Child Welfare System and formal experience as a consumer, foster or adoptive parent.  The Family Partner is a peer position that assists families in navigating the child protective system (DCF and Community Partnership for Children) through sharing what the Family Partner learned and experienced in when they themselves were involved in the system. Due to the nature of the job, it is a requirement of this position that you have actual personal experience involving DCF, CPC and/or the Courts regarding child neglect and/or abuse.  Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, current auto insurance and be insurable by the Agency’s liability carrier.  Travel throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties and doing in-home visits are required.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is a liaison position involving the support and coordination of services for caregivers and families who require diversion and prevention supports. 

  • The Family Partner will work in concert with the Care Coordinator to conduct strength discoveries and co-lead Family Team Conferencing. 

  • The Family Partner engages through education and provides direct support, helps carry out crisis stabilization, models a strength-based approach, is a team member as needed and temporary surrogate support. 

  • The Family Partner carries out plan strategies, links families to natural supports and community resources, helps families complete paperwork and model parenting skills.
